RALEIGH, N.C. August 26, 2016 Muses Labs announced today it has been selected as a Showcase Company to present on the Main Stage at this year’s CED Tech Venture Conference to be held September 13th and 14th at the Raleigh Convention Center.

CED describes the Tech Venture Conference as follows:

As the premier event for technology entrepreneurs in the Southeast, the CED Tech Venture Conference attracts some of the most innovative minds from across the nation to Raleigh, NC, recently ranked the #5 tech hotspot. From early startups to growth-stage companies to highly successful businesses, the CED Tech Venture Conference reflects North Carolina’s vibrant entrepreneurial community and showcases many of the most promising emerging companies in the region.”

Muses Labs will showcase its initial solution targeting age-related cognitive decline and the spectrum of Alzheimer’s disease. The company has developed a data-driven, technology-enabled solution to help physicians correctly identify and simultaneously treat the dozens of underlying causes of age-related cognitive decline. The solution targets people who are beginning to have symptoms of age-related cognitive decline and those with a family history of dementia. Proprietary algorithms within the solution recommend optimal medical interventions personalized for each person with a goal of improving memory and cognitive function.

Muses Labs’ CTO, John Q. Walker, recently presented pilot results at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC). Early data show Muses Labs’ solutions have the potential to improve memory and cognitive function in greater than 50% of individuals that followed their personalized plan for at least six months.

Beyond Alzheimer’s, Muses Labs’ solutions will expand to cover additional complex and chronic diseases such as Parkinson’s, autism, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and diabetes, among others. Additional studies are planned in collaboration with leading research centers and other health technology partners.
